Hi All,
I am very new to the Type 1 gage studies and have read lots of documentation around the internet.
With regards to Cgk the benchmark seems to be greater > than 1.33 is acceptable which is clear.
Now with regards to Var% the normal that everyone seems to suggest is less than 15%
I currently have a set of values which display negative values for Cgk and Var% (Repeat-ability and Bias) , how do you interpret these negative values especially on the Var%.?
Clearly there is significant Bias as the P-Value is 0
actual values are Cgk -2.33 and VAr% R&B = -9.11
Can anyone offer any advice?
Regards
Dan

be notified via email.Negative values indicate that the gage is biased to measure low. This article may be helpful. https://mei.org.uk/files/pdf/Mathematics_of_Measurement_Systems_Analysis.pdf
