I would start with a team composed of representatives from all Departments/Divisions and begin the process of designing the lean six sigma process for your organization.
You have to know what you are going to build before you can start building it.

Contact Mike Carnell at [email protected] He takes this topic seriously and can help your organization I suspect get off the ground.0May 26, 2007 at 12:33 am #156585

Are they committed to resourcing it properly?Jim Shelor’s advice is good advice. I would add in goals and measurement — if the organization does not have “good” goals and measurement (results-oriented AND process-oriented), start talking with execs now about that, and start working with them to get those in place.Best regards,
QualityColorado0May 26, 2007 at 7:03 am #156588Consider to involve someone with experience in Six Sigma, idealy an Mater Black Belt. If get a good guy, you are on a good track.
You have to choose training company. Select good projects, so you show results of six sigma implementation. If you fail in first projects, you may not get a second chance.
Beleive me, it isnt simple. Thats why I think it is crucial to have inside the company a MBB.
