Marlon BrandoParticipant@Marlon-BrandoInclude @Marlon-Brando in your post and this person will

Do we have to accept this “ugly” human behaviour or what?

You put stuff up here for yourself and the satisfaction you are doing it for an intrinsic benefit, self actualization, or whatever psychobable term someone wants to apply. Anything you get back from other people is a bonus.
If you are doing this because you want all kinds of praise and thanks then you have an unrealistic expectation. This is your issue not theirs.
How to deal with them. You can’t. Nobody on here has any obligation to live up to your expectation. If that bothers you stop participating.
Just my opinion.0March 20, 2008 at 2:07 am #169874

I have no clue what either of those comments mean.
It seems pretty needy to do something and rely on someone else thanking you to have some level of validation.

Have always great respect for your wise opinion.
One clarification:It is not an “odd” view as you have explained ,I just say always: who cares?I enjoy sharing stuff with people.Wanted only to trigger a debate to discuss “human nature”,that is all.

Please suggest to me a “free” Forum ,where I can post some stuff (that I have prepared).
Thanks & Regards0March 20, 2008 at 10:34 am #169896Marlon,Why don’t you take the same approach as many other people – set up your own website? You can then post your material and ask visitors to leave comments. That way, if you neglect to ask people permission to send them material and they neglect to thank you – no one will feel ugly – God forbid!

Thank You Pooh0March 20, 2008 at 1:17 pm #169911Hi,
We are sharing our knowledge with others who need them. If some body is not showing appreciation on receipt of such knowledge, only they should feel ashamed of it and in no way you should feel for it. You continue to do sharing without expecting any return from them.
Cheers!
