    Please help!!!!!!!!!
I had that question asked about the CPk one sided SL and I do not understand how they came up with the result.
A process with a one-sided specification has a Cpk of 1.02.  What percentage of the production falls beyond the specification limit?  Do not enter your answer as a percentage.  For example, enter 0.153 NOT 15.3%  Please provide your answer to at least 3 significant digits.

    answer:
    .0011066210266

    How and why?

The formula for Cpk=(USL-mean)/3s.d.  so 1.02=(USL-mean)/3s.d.
So with a little manipulation you get 3.06=(USL-mean)/s.d. which is the definition of the Z value.  So, if Z=3.06 and you look that up in the Z table for one side you get .001107.  I hope the other exam questions aren’t all that easy.
