I would like to get my ASQ GB and BB certification.  What is the “best” online Lean Six Sigma training.

Got to say it – online training … probably a waste of money. The benefit comes from taking training, having a good quality, and
available coach and in achieving results from the application of the
training.I’m guessing there will always be a demand for certificate collectors.Adam

The typical term “that depends” is applicable here. The material from Moresteam and BMG is good material from the
perspective of some one that fully understands it. Now put your
self in the shoes of some one that does not understand it yet …
you go through the training and learn how to optimize the process
with some cool Six Sigma Tools … great. But a seasoned mentor
may have prescribed from a Lean perspective to eliminate the
process step instead. So … training is good and results are achieved if applied
appropriately. In my opinion the true value of Lean / Six Sigma is
leveraged fully when the trainee is connected to a seasoned coach
that assists not only the trainee but also the deployment within the
    business. Hope this helps.Adam

and taking a test may work for some – again – it’s all in the

Let me try this again …
“I would like to get my ASQ GB and BB certification.  What is the “best” online Lean Six Sigma training?”
There are many reasons why our company will not allow us to do 2 weeks of live GB training or 4 weeks of live BB training.
We will be mentored by an experienced MBB who will coach us through our LSS project.

Mike – Adam mentioned moresteam.  asq’s online courses are really the moresteam people.  asq makes sure their coverage matches watever is in the exam coverage.

OK – now I’m a little confused – if you have an experienced MBB to
coach you through a project then it would make sense to do “real
time” training and projects – i.e projects live. Furthermore if your
MBB is experiences they should be able to certify you alsoAn alternative to on-line training like moresteam is to go get the
book “six Sigma for Dummies” which may suffice your needs – it is
less than 20 bucks versus a couple of thousand for on-line training
    – it’s an option to consider. One question if the MBB is experienced why do you think their
certification is any less valuable than that from ASQ ?
Certification I provide is rigorous and and in terms of “business
value” provides more benefit than that of ASQ.Best regards,AdamI know we could bat this around for days – call me if you like and
we can chat off line (1) 720 938 0321 (MST)
