Hi Friends,
I have been using Minitab for all my projects from last 4 years….
Now when i have moved in new org, i have found people using oracle crystal ball for simulations…
I am keen to know about its specific application (comparing from minitab) and learning resources availble on net or with u guys…

You do realize that these two tools are not really comparable, as they perform different (arguably related, but different) functions?
Obiwan0March 13, 2009 at 11:18 am #182341Minitab is a software suite used to perfomr a variety of SPC, Quality and statistical functions, Crystal Ball is used to perfomr Monte Carlo simulations. These are two very different things.
Crystal Ball is a powerful tool and I would suggest anyone in the six sigma field use it. But it had nothing to do with Minitab functions.0March 16, 2009 at 4:30 am #182397thanks guys for your reply,
I know that you all emphasised on need ofhaving knowledge of crystal ball. What all resourses I can see upon for the same.
Also, I would like few examples of situations where crystal ball can be aptly used….
Thanks in advance0 -
