    Hello,

I am currently working on a project to reduce the downtime in our automatic retrieval system (ASRS) due to over-hanging skids and loose shrink-wraps blocking the photo eye. Is there a way I can scan all four sides of the skids to make sure they are not out of range before entering into the ASRS system?  Also is there a way i can automatically get rid of the loose shrink-wraps? We are still working with forklift drivers to take care of that.

You’re much closer to the process than me BUT if there’s no integrity issue with the shrink wrapped pallets, then consider how to get rid of the stops by moving the relative positions of the eyes as a PARTIAL solution.
