Does anyone have a pilot planning template or a couple slides on how to plan a pilot? I’m looking for somethingn that might prompt all the things that have to be thought about in preparation of a pilot improvement. I already have a data collection template, an FMEA template and a control plan template, but not much on planning the pilot. It seems it’s not intuitive!

That’s a good, thought-provoking question. I don’t know of any such template, but I will try to query some acquaintances.

I find it useful to layer some “Six Sigma” tools on the methods of project management: brainstorming the tasks, using affinity diagrams to organize them into work breakdown structures, sequencing them into a pert chart. I also find that a dry run in a conference room is valuable.

I don’t have much beyond that.

You’ve made me think. I shall be avenged! (Kidding)
