Im nearing the end of my Six Sigma project (Bandwidth OverCapacity) and have come across an issue with Ppk (Process Capability Analysis)
When I created a process capability chart using MiniTab, based on analysis of Bandwith OverCapacity I got a Ppk value of 5.50. This based on a sample mean of overcapacity = 92.86
Following Improvement, where i have demonstrated a range reduction using control charts the Ppk value has now been calculated at 1.07. This based on a sample mean after improvement of overcapacity =3.84
My question is surely i should be confident to illustrate that the Ppk ‘reduction’ is a better sign of improvement in this example as opposed to the norm of the Ppk increasing?0
