    Hi,
    I am trying to find an optimin number of runs on one of our tools.
    Teh tool has a perimeter seal fitted to minimise the thickness of “flashing” arounf the product after it has been moulded.
    I have ran regression analysis, and quadratic, and there is a relationship( P value = 0), however, I anm confused as to how I can state when the seals should be changed.(Optimim number of runs)
    Has any one any exerience of a similar issue ?

    By using Weigbull analysis,you can arrive a B10 life.Using B10 life you can fix the frequenccy.

    I would say that … if you can you should do some experiments. Now that you know that there is a relationship … set up some experiments. Run it X number of times and then check it, then do it again. I’d also say that this may not be a one X problem … so watch out for interactions that you have not studied.
