Formulae for gage error at 95% confidence level is (5.15/d) MeanR.
Now, if we have to change the cofidence level to suppose 70, how will the value of this 5.15 change?
Please help.
Amit0February 4, 2005 at 5:27 pm #1144941. The number there should be 99% for 5.15 SD.
2. If you look at Z on 0.995 (0.5% on a single tail), you will arrive at Z = 2.575, double it and you see that 5.15 SD covers 99% of your data given a normal distribution.
Apply the same logic to solve your 70% problem.0 - AuthorPosts
