I have got to get my money back from that shotty GB training, as I recently read through the article “Using Effective Metrics to Measure Production Test Flow” and need clarification on a couple of the basics:
For those that read the first half of the article, are the descriptions of FPY, RTY, and Total Process Yield correct? They appear conflicted, but that could be my inner child.
And cycle time being an elapsed measure? Since when is a rate an elapsed measure (piece/min, etc). Would lead time not be a better description here?
