We have noticed a number of posts recently that have been in violation of discussion forum etiquette – particularly by being inconsiderate to others and/or by using inappropriate language. While our moderators edit and remove offensive posts, it is time for us to revisit our guidelines and ask forum users to re-dedicate themselves to a more civil discourse. For iSixSigma’s part, we are in the process of updating the forum’s published etiquette statement to clarify what is inappropriate behavior and to more strongly stress that users should perform a site search on the topic before posting a question. As for posters, we ask that you please remember the forum is a place for Six Sigma practitioners of every level – from rookies to pros – to find help, share information and banter with colleagues. Although we ask for greater adherence to both the words and spirit of forum etiquette, we are not seeking a humorless place; please help us in adhering to the etiquette guidelines while keeping the lively nature of the forum. No dress code. You know how Darth likes to play dress up.

I’m pretty sure that there should be some sort of “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on Darth’s dress-up games.

Ms. Harper,I have been trying to get ready for my son’s wedding tomorrow but felt obligated to respond to all the recent dispersions of my name and dubious reputation. Since you know all the ISPs of the various posters can you please block them from any further insults? When you are finished with your revision of the etiquette commandments please post for feedback. I am sure you will receive many valuable and insightful comments.

As you know Darth, they are only insults if they are not something you are proud of.
