Whilst it may not traditionally be a 6S project, I am approaching the introduction of lead free at our company like a 6S project and using tools (PM, SIPOC, FMEA, C&E) to help focus and prioritise the actions.
Are any BB’s involved in Lead free/RoHS implementation?

Tipically lead free projects are managed by industrial engineering project manager and the quality, or ss, is involved for its part of project. Anyway, a BB can absolutely do it, even if I have never seen a BB manage a lead free project.
An interesting site, for electronic assembly,  where lead free is one of main interesting area is : http://www.smtnet.com

All my previous requests were spam-filtered out so sorry for not replying.
6S really come useful in “establishing the base-line” scoping out the size of it. It’s surprizing how important this is. Data mining the parts to be ex/included is a very useful exercisde.
Establish a metric and a defect definition too.
My involvement was just doing that then people went away and validated the new parts & MPN on the AVL.
We are in the control equipment business so RoHS for me was not implemented, We’re still running on lead!
