I need to know what is a scrap analysis, and how to use it, e.g. where, when, why, how, etc. Your help is highl appreciated.

Make sure all scrap in written off using the most correct scrap/reject code and then have someone set up some reports and/or Pareto charts that will show your scrap costs for each part and reject code(by $$ and/or PPMs). Use this information to focus your scrap reduction efforts on the “big hitters”.
