Our group does RSS variation stacks to simulate gaps and flush conditions we may see during assembly. We usually use a Cpk of 1.33 for our suppliers. Sometimes we’ll have a supplier that cannot meet the 1.33 and will do 100% inspection to ensure good parts.
My question is what should we now use in the RSS stack for Cpk to predict what we will see in the final product?0July 7, 2021 at 8:31 pm #254674
StrayerParticipant@StraydogInclude @Straydog in your post and this person will
be notified via email. Can you assume that a supplier that performs 100% inspections delivers zero defectives? Of course not. My inclination is that they should not be treated differently from any other supplier. But I’m wondering why you asked this question.
