I am evaluating the best simulation software out there that supports our six sigma process analysis, anyone have any suggestions, which is the best they have used?

    Thanks

Process Model by far. I am not an Industrial Engineer , and I figured out how to use it fairly quickly. Simulations are the future of any good six sigma program.

I currently use iGrafx, it’s quite versatile and pretty easy to pick up. As well the support provided is fantastic.

A trial version is available from their website too.

    Selveen,

I teach simulation classes at the university level and also consult on simulation projects. I have access to a half dozen different packages, out of all of them, for six sigma type process modeling I like Process Model too. Scott Baird (owner) is a great guy to work with, their support is very good too.

I have been using Simul8 for a lot of Lean projects with transactional / service processes. It is fairly easy to pick up but has a lot of extra bells and whistles that we haven’t gotten to yet… I recommend you to take a look at it…
