Just a quick “philosophical” question to ask six sigma folks: if you were going to apply six sigma principles to American elections and ballot counting, what sort of error rates would be tolerated? What would need to change in the election process to allow six sigma to be implemented?
0February 2, 2001 at 5:00 am #65759This is a straight forward Measurement Systems problem. If attribute R&R had been used and the problems detected resolved before the election — there would have been no problem.
