Hi group,
I am doing my research in CI and need some data.
1) What is the approx cost for a Six Sigma, Lean and Lean Six Sigma implementaion.
I am aware that the costs would vary based on a number of factors, but I would apprecaite if people who have been associated with the implementaion of any of the three methodologies could give me a rough figure and also mention if their organization was a Small, medium or a large organization. (No need to disclose the name of your organization if you do not wish too)
Thanks

0October 6, 2003 at 9:58 pm #907041.1MM with the following criteria:
small (less than 1000 employees)
salaries of BB’s are factored into the cost
100K for Black Belt training up to 10 BB’s
One Deployment Champ and one MBB. Their salaries are also
factored into the equation
iGrafx, Minitab and a virtual coach software for 10 BB’s.
One soft skill training for 70 people
One way of Green Belt up to 30 people.Hope this helps.0October 7, 2003 at 2:32 pm #90724$80,000 and still spending, which does not include salaries for BB (1) and MBB (1), but does include site license for Minitab & Project X, some facilities upgrade (converted an old darkroom in to a training/workroom), and some initial consulting.
We are a small, light-industrial group of about 250.
Hope this helps.0October 7, 2003 at 4:26 pm #90738thanks guys ….it was a big help…
any clue on the implementaion cost for lean and lean six sigma???0October 8, 2003 at 2:30 pm #90783Our ‘Resident BB’ came with Lean experience, so, while we have incorporated Lean concepts into our operations, we have not spent money specifically on Lean implementation or training.
