    Akram,
I have been engaged in  a variety of similar Operations and Process Improvement efforts over the past several years, for  Pathology Services at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Please feel free to contact me to further discuss your needs.

I have been involved in six sigma projects in our laboratory.  We approached our projects from several different angles.  Nursing labeling, phlebotomy, processing and were designing our new lab construction to promote efficiencies in laboratory analytical processes.  I can be reached at my email address if you are interested in any discussions.  I have some educational materials available for the projects that we developed.

Hire a MBB who knows what they are doing to help you plan your rollout.  Power point presentations and on-line research will not provide you with the level of knowledge required to be successful with your deployment.
    Good luck.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Email me at [email protected] … I have worked on a few projects in hospital and labs in Michigan.

    Hi Kathy,
I work in a tertiary care multispeciality hospital as Chief of Laboratory Services. I am also doing my Six Sigma Black Belt. I would be really interested in interacting with you in this regard.
    Annabel.
