Hello, anyone out there who knows about a not for profit company that has implemented six sigma in its administration or anywhere. I would appreciate your responding with the proper information.

The city of Ft. Wayne Indiana is probably the biggest not for profit example I can think of – do a search you will find them.
There are also numerous food kitchens and low income housing providers that have done this in the bay area of California.
Of course there are all of those companies out there that aren’t making profit – GM is probably the best example I can think of there.

There are a number of MBBs from BOA that are helping the United Way in North Carolina.  I understand that they are doing some good SS work.  Of course, that is in lieu of actually doing something at the Bank.  At least the Director of UW cares.

    Hi Stan,
just related to your comment on this post, GM achieved another milestone. For first time in the economic history a US company (GM) have been classified at higher risk than an High Risk Country (Venezuela). (news from economic newspaper last Friday).
