Hello;
I am looking for a format to report the status of all of our six sigma projects to management. I need some idea’s on how to track project status and put it in a brief summary for managements review. Can any of you Six Sigma Managers/Master Belts help guide me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.0October 30, 2006 at 2:49 pm #146110
Project ReportParticipant@Project-ReportInclude @Project-Report in your post and this person will
be notified via email.Hi : I might not have anything directly to answer you but some work which might give you some idea of how you can do it.
A simple and general one for Six Sigma is at http://www.ict-m.com/ictm/public/Applications/DriverProg/SixSigma/sixsigma_flow.aspx
A more relevant report sample though not exactly six sigma is at http://www.ict-m.com/ictm/public/Applications/Projects/7qctools/reports/7qctools_report.pdf
I would be happy to furnish further assistance if it is anything close to what you are looking for. Reply with your mail id.0October 30, 2006 at 2:51 pm #146111I’d be happy to share how we provide this information.

Thanks so much for the links. They do help.
I think what I am looking for now is the very top layer of reporting. An overall one page summary with some graphics. We currently have three projects in progress.
I would like to follow that page with the details that were included in the links that you sent.
It has been my experience that Managers most often have several items on their agenda to discuss during plant performance reviews.
Typically they want a one page “Bottom Line” report on where we are at with our continuous improvement efforts. They only time they seem to want details is when targets are missed.
My concern is boring them with too much information when all they really want to know is the status of all projects.
What should I include in my one page summary?
Thanks again for all of your help. It is very much appreciated.0March 19, 2007 at 7:07 am #153554Steve,
