    Hi everybody, so far we have seen so many discussions about so many topics, I just wanna know from quality people what would they do if they have got option to do either six sigma or MBA from their respective organizations?

    I would probably choose the MBA since it is almost certainly the most costly option.
    However, I would definitely look for an MBA which includes a Six Sigma module and then self-fund if neccessary the ASQ BB certification.
    The decision largely depends on your goals. If you have an immediate goal to become a BB, then Six Sigma probably makes sense. If you have ambitions to climb the corporate ladder and become a business unit director, the MBA is the way to go.

    Great questions! I struggled with this same question.  I am a Six Sigma Black Belt and MBA from University of Maryland.  I would say it depends on career path you take.  However, I believe the SSBB gives me more credibility than the MBA.  I would suggest doing the ROI of the MBA and SSBB. You will find that the ROI for the SSBB has a higher return.

    I am a Production Planner for 2 months and fresh graduated in Industrial Engineering from U. of Arizona. Right now I want to start planning my career path. For instance which indusries and certificate later on such as PMP, MBA, supply chain or six sigma? which one is the best ? Thank you, I think about this whenever my mind is empty. please advice.
