    Hello,

I am looking at studying Six Sigma and know little about it. Who is Six Sigma certified and how does it benefit project management? I am a IT/Telecoms infrastrucutre delivery project manager and looking to find out what value would Six Sigma provide.

    Any help will be apprecited.

I didn’t find the right solution from the Internet.

@noelblakley Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and Lean are the greatest innovation to Project Management in the last 30 years. You will always come in at least 10% under budget and twice as fast as the original time planned.

I’d argue that agile is the greatest innovation in project management, especially in IT. But it arose from applying lean six sigma to the project management process. You might start with agile and work backwards to understand why it works so well.

@Straydog I was being sarcastic. If I were a Program Manager, which we are when we run deployments, and I wanted to know if this was going to help me I can’t imagine logging onto a Discussion Forum and asking a bunch of people I don’t know it would help.

This isn’t as bad as Praveen asking for templates but it is a first cousin to that level of apathy.
