Currently I am working in an OEE proyect (Efficiency and Utilization) my metric indicator is the OEE level (%). Can I use the Cpk to measure this metric indicator?, Apply this metric in my proyect?, also when I am doing a 2t test, I need to know the sample size, minitab shows differences, power and sigma, If I don’t have the sigma value because I haven’t still taken samples, how much is this value? Thanks

I would avoid using the Cpk as a metric indicator for OEE.  What would the specifications be?  I would just trend out the OEE and show improvements based on that trend analysis.  For sample size I would just estimate how much of a shift you want to be able to detect.  For example if you want to detect a 1 sigma shift then put difference and sigma both at 1.  Of course Power is the 1-beta of error you want to accept.
Not a big fan of OEE though.  Good measurable but if I tell you that your OEE is 70% then what do you go and work on.  It tells you that there is 30% of improvement to be had, but doesn’t point you into the direction to improve.  Still need to look at the three underlying metrics to have value.
