Does any company post their KPIs on their website? You get into that when you begin negotiating with a company.
However, recognize the success of a LSS deployment is dependent upon far more factors than the competency of the training firm.

Performance isn’t important to six sigma companies and consultancies – that’s why they don’t perform.

It was stupid. It posed no valid position on performance nor gave examples and was presumptive that they don’t perform. If you take a position at least post your justification.
And I don’t mind sounding like you at times Stan.

Robin, Good evening!Regarding your question about Six Sigma consultancies / training companies posting KPIs on their websites:Most companies, whether they are Six Sigma consultancies or not, do not post their KPIs on their websites (at least not on their EXTERNAL websites; though, many DO post them on their INTERNAL company websites).Go to the websites for any company, big or small (like GE, FedEx, Citigroup, Google, etc.), or any website for a non-company organization (like Harvard University; the city government of New York City; or the Salvation Army site) — none post their KPIs there.BECAUSE …That is not what the want their external websites to do for them! Their websites are meant to bring in customers and to serve customers; and, they are NOT meant to show operational indicators. For instance, go to Facebook.com — you will find tools to help you post information about yourself, and to find friends — BUT, you will not find information about Facebook’s operational KPIs (such as, how much money the company spent last month).Go to FedEx.com — that company makes it very easy to track your package, but you will not find any information about how many packages did not arrive on time (part of a KPI for FedEx).Go to Harvard.edu — you will find information about how many Nobel prize winners they have on staff, but you will not find any KPI information (such as, the average monetary increase in the University’s endowment during each of the past 6 months). These kinds of things simply don’t go on customer-facing websites for companies, universities, etc.If you want to find out about a company’s KPIs, like the KPIs for a Six Sigma consultancy, you are probably going to have to do in the old-fashioned, low-tech way: ask them. Expect some disappointment, too; not every company will want to tell you, for competitive or other reasons.

Thank you for your comments QualityColorado, but I would think a case study outlining how to apply Six Sigma within a training company would be more interesting than case study dealing with theoretical Pizza production.Regards,
    Robin

Robin, Good morning!I agree with you completely; the “pizza company” example (and its many variations) is overused. When I interview Six Sigma consultancies and Six Sigma training organizations to potentially use their services, I always ask whether the company itself uses Six Sigma in it own operations. Many times, that stops the conversation right there — it is surprising how many do not.For the ones that do, I always ask to see some of their Projects — that helps me to know whether the company REALLY understands Six Sigma. The ones that understand how to use Six Sigma are the ones that I may be interested in.If you are looking for case studies about applying Six Sigma inside Six Sigma consultancy or training company, you will probably need to ask them.
    Best regards,
