Does anyone out there have a good six sigma vision/mission statement that they would be willing to share?
    Thanks in advance.

I’d love to see a “good” vision statement.  I havent seen an original mission statement in 10 years.  Most of them are ridiculous and if i was a business leader i would have a hard time doing business with people that have zero originality for their vision.  Maybe its because people look for others to “share” their vision.
I’m not trying to slam Doug but wouldnt it make sense to sit down with a few key people and ACTUALLY create your OWN vision?  Something that means something.  I mean dont just tell us customers that you want to be the best of the best.  They know that.  Try to be more personal.  Despite most beliefs business is VERY personal.
Give it a shot.  If you have any core business beliefs you should be able to come up with one.  If you havent founded your beliefs (and thats ok) this excersise may help you find them.
Another note.  You shouldnt be doing this on your own (not saying you are).  The vision for a company initiative isnt one person.
Good luck and if you get a good one post it.  It would be fun to read one and actually care for a change.
I’m hoping someday the mission statement fizzles out like a bad fart.
