    Hi All,
in general, the DMAIC methodology is based on tools coming from inferential statistics (Hypothesis testing, ANOVA, etc..)
I recently came across a situation in a department where there is 100% quality check. QA operators do not collect samples, they check 100% of the products for defects and deliver a full count of the defects on a daily basis.
How does the application of Statistical Process Control change in this case? Does it still make sense to apply SPC?

    Thanks.

    Attribute data?

100% manual inspection? Inspection costs must be VERY low. Rework or waste must be high to warrant 100% inspection. Would love to learn more.

SPC is a great way to detect shifts in X’s or Y’s.
