    Can  we  apply  SS for SMEs?Is  there  any real practical case-study?

    MB: I am asking that question too. Is SS applicable for SME’s? My believe is yes it will be applicable especially when one looks at the “Loss to society” concept. However when the customers says so……….SME’s will attempt.
    On the other hand, my personal opinion is even if the SME’s do not succeed wholly in their SS quest, there will be some positive outcome with great benefits in the long run. My observation : A man with one eye is the king in a world of blindness.

    A friend of mine who is working in a China based plastic molding SME was forced to apply six sigma due to the pressure from a main customer. Whether it’s a fruitful result or not, I have to check with him.There is no reason why six sigma cannot be applied in SME. Six Sigma is not a rocket science anyway.

    I do believe Six Sigma can by apply in SME operation management.
