    Siva,
In order to run a successful six sigma project, you will need:

    A good attitutude
    Proper training
An acceptable and approved project reviewed by your MBB and business leader
    Support and mentoring
It sounds like you have the first two items on the list, but I question whether your business (MBB and business leader) are committed if they have not helped you locate a properly sized project for you. Once you find this project, you will need more mentoring than can be supplied through a forum of this nature, so make sure you have it before you start. Usually a BB is responsible for doing the mentoring of a project.

    Siva,
Good to see your eagerness and enthusiasm. These two elements are vital to be there for a long time delivering the best quality of service.
What I doubt is the training effectiveness. What was thoroughly done during GB training earlier was ensure that the Green Belts have come with specific problems/opportunities for improvement projects in their areas. The last day of the training was usually devoted to project opportunity review and GBs then use to prioritize potential projects. I am not sure you had that.
Secondly, if you are working in an organization with adequate six sigma org. structure, then you must be having quality MBB or BBs who can help you in selection of projects. Any project selection requires careful analysis, because sometimes projects are started without ROI  / Benefit Cost analysis with MBB/BBs not knowing that anything with immediate solution cannot be a Six Sigma project. Benefits should be reflected on the future Financial Statements. I can list some of the line items here: Contribution Margin, Direct Labor, Indirect Labor, Warranty Labor, Other Direct Selling costs, Program Labor, Fixed Base Costs, Concession.
Some of the typical problems translated into opportunities could be driven due to the following reasons:
    1. Sales and profits declining
    2. Effort on obtaining new accounts increasing
    3. Errors and delivery problems increasing
So, you can have projects that focus on “Billing Errors”, “Late deliveries”, “Excessive time developing new accounts”, “Current accounting system not used properly”.
Think about the relationships between the issues. For example, “poor service” (billing and delivery problems) can result in “lost customers and sales”.
Another area could be “Reduction in Days-to-Pay” by the customers. If you are always receiving late payments from the customers how you could possibly reduce the days-to-pay and hence generate continuous revenue stream for your company.
More examples: Projects focusing on – “Decrease Sales Discounts” “Inventory Reduction”, “Receivables (past due balance) reduction”.
Make your MBB think more and get good mentoring from BBs/MBB to sustain your interest. That is vital.
    All the Best!
    Hemant
