Your best bet is to find a course at a university you can take on statistics.  If you can learn from reading a book, the Air Academy Press has a good book of statistics specifically geared for use with 6-Sigma called “Basic Statistics – Tools for Continuous Improvement” by Keimele, Schmidt, and Berdine.
Note:  In the English language, when you say “I”, you always use a capital or uppercase letter.  Don’t use “i”.  Please do not take this as criticism, but as constructive feedback, as most people would not tell you out of politeness, they would let you go on making the same error over and over.

I’ve always been impressed by the technical support of Minitab. Their software has been the standard at my company for years, and every time I call their technical support hotline for help in my projects they are always very helpful.
I suggest you visit their website (http://www.minitab.com) and find the reseller in India. You should also verify that they have a support group in India, or that you are allowed to call the US for help (I think I was calling in the US for help, so it wasn’t too expensive).
    Good luck!

Also, you need to remember to capitalize the first letter of the first word anytime you begin a new sentence.

You all know I like to have fun, but I “typically” do not direct it to individual people unless they are jerks.  I’m more interested in trashing management and their supporters in revolt to my old union days.  This has turned out to be a good site to bash bosses when you can’t bash your ownBut my point is; this poor guy’s from india (I know i wrote it with a lowercase i) and he’s asking for help with 6S and not grammar so give him a break!

This brings us to the age old question: If you see a man with his fly open, do you tell him?  If you don’t, are you doing more of a disservice to him by letting him expose himself to embarassment to several others that may see him later?

Thank you very much Jack for the process check.
Coming back to the discussion, I have undergone my BB training and have started my second BB project. I need to know :-
    a) there must be something like undergoing an advanced training on the statistical tools used in six sigma (please correct me if I am wrong) and by advanced training I probably mean understanding the tools (more than their usage, their statistical derivation; usage part being covered in the BB training) more deeply.
i personally would rather than limiting myslef to feeding data in minitab and interpreting the results, would first like to know, how minitab has calculated/ arrived at the results :- what formulas have been used and how does one arrive at those and then interpret the same
    b) and if the answer to the above is yes, then which organisation in India offers such learnings.
    regards
