    Two questions.
    I recently read a comment stating that there are consideratble advantages to analyzing the log of s rather than s itself in the context of   

    What are these advantages?
    In addition, another comment was made about how scaling or normalizing factor inputs are often preferable methods when running experimental designs. Again, no details.

    What are the adv-disadv to scaling your factor measures? If desirable, any references for more information?

    I can’t comment on the issue of log s vs s but the post below may provide some understanding about the issues surrounding scaled (normalized) inputs.
