Alright Engine Boy, at the risk of getting even more flack I’ll specifically answer your question….or put you on a path to an answer.
WB is typically the term used to mean a course introducing the concepts of LSS to the general population in the company who are not going to be participants in more rigorous training.
Go to http://www.opensourcesixsigma.com, or any other site you can find that offers similar stuff, and you can view the Tables of Content for YB and for LSS Awareness training. By doing that you will be able to see the subject matters covered and the variation between the two courses. For that matter you can view the Tables of contents for ALL course they offer and compare topics addressed in a variety of courses.
    Good luck.

Just because I feel like being a complete smart a$$ today, I did what I tell most people on this subject google it “White Belt Six Sigma” This was the #1 search option. and I quote from the web site.
We all know that Six Sigma is a well proven, highly analytical improvement program. Practitioners are only the best highly trained and highly skilled statisticians right? WRONG! By utilizing the Β“White BeltΒ’ training philosophy, you can introduce the basic Six Sigma tools and improvement philosophy to a large percentage of your work force. Inject the Six Sigma culture deeper into your organization with this excellent training opportunity.Topics covered include the DMAIC philosophy and the basic graphical tools used in Six Sigma. No statistical knowledge or computer is required. Attendees can immediately apply the tools and hands on training received to their job to identify opportunities and improve processes. Attendees, Β“White BeltsΒ’ become a Green or Black Belts support structure, and while under their guidance can apply the strength of Six Sigma to their everyday jobs. Having a greater population of employees in your work force well versed in Six Sigma terminology/philosophy can only improve your programs chance for success. The White Belt training is targeted at the personnel in all levels of the organization, from upper management to direct workers. All personnel learn what questions to ask in either their supporting role to Six Sigma projects, or their active participation in generating data and doing hands on projects. Planning, controlling, and overseeing the implementation and continuation of a Six Sigma Program becomes evident to all attendees.By attending you will:

Be able to answer the question, Β“What is Six Sigma?Β”
Realize why you need Six Sigma
Gain a general understanding about the Six Sigma methodology
Know the role everyone plays in the success of Six Sigma
Understand the link between Six Sigma and your customers.
Course Details:Length: 3 Days (24 hours) or customized to your needs.Optional 8 hours of Lean Tools & ImplementationFormat: Classroom Β– Lab.
Ask questions that are this easy to search and this is what your going to get.
    Cheers

So what you are saying is that a Yellow Belt is literally a White Belt that has gotten a little bit dirty? (i.e. actually participated on at least one project)
    Brilliant!

Yes, but that still leaves open the question as to what a Fuscia Belt must do to become a WB.
    So many questions…so few answers…..

Ah yes. I quit worrying about that when I got my Plaid Belt and ultimately my Master Dark Salmon Belt.
    … but there’s still hope.
