be notified via email. This morning’s array of questions has to be the dumbest collection in a long time. I always look forward to reading the posts from about midnight US time until I read them around 8a EST. I don’t know what country they are originating from but maybe we should set aside a channel on this Forum for all stupid posters who feel an urge to demonstrate their ignorance and laziness. Anybody else having these feelings?
0March 22, 2006 at 3:03 pm #135345Maybe we just neeed a Forum where only geniiuses like Darth can post.

Looks like you have attracted a keen group of qualified posters. Your lessons from the Emperor must be coming along well?
Funny how the dark side has no patients for Padawan’s eh?

The Six Sigma TeamMember@The-Six-Sigma-TeamInclude @The-Six-Sigma-Team in your post and this person will
be notified via email. We never ceased to be amazed at how a hand-full of the frequent posters (on this site) seemingly go out of their way to stereotype and degrade other contributors, especially those individuals that are not US citizens and/or are not fully fluent in English.
Obviously, the offending posters are deliberately promoting an ugly form of human prejudice. Attempting to shroud such prejudice in a veil of humor does not diminish the resulting distastefulness.
Without saying, this form of prejudice can unjustifiably scar the feelings and emotions of well-intentioned individuals. From our perspective, such slurs destabilize the aims of multi-cultural participation and reflect poorly on an otherwise excellent website.
Within the field and practice of Six Sigma, we often talk about the essential need for Black Belts and Green Belts to obtain soft skills, as well as hard skills. Well, it would seem that this thread is just another example of why this belief is so true. The absence of soft skills is most apparent.
Perhaps others also have this opinion.0March 22, 2006 at 4:23 pm #135354

On some days these posts are the only thing that gets me through my day. Stupid people are funny. Equally, the self righteous folk crack me up.
Stevo
Ps. The only people that I cant stand are the people that post fluff and non-value added stuff.0March 22, 2006 at 4:47 pm #135357Six Sigma Team,
I wonder who is really “promoting an ugly form of human prejudice?”
Maybe promoting an ugly form of human prejudice is assuming that simply because someone is from another country and / or has English as a second language cannot “google” the words “six sigma” and get a definition of what it is?
Hmmm…. I believe the only prejudice is laziness, and it is applicable around the globe!
Cheers!

Ken FeldmanParticipant@DarthInclude @Darth in your post and this person will

Please note that nowhere in my original post did I even remotely suggest that grammar or spelling is an issue. My issue is the content and laziness. I realize that the early morning posters will be located in distant time zones and thus distant countries. I applaud them for their willingness to try and post in something other than their native language. And you are right, stupid posts and laziness are not restricted to foreign posters. It’s just the first ones I see in the morning when signing on. So, get off your high horse and stop transfering your prejudices to Darth since he hates everyone equally thus removing the stigma and label of bigot.0March 22, 2006 at 5:23 pm #135362

stupid is as stupid does…Member@stupid-is-as-stupid-does...Include @stupid-is-as-stupid-does... in your post and this person will
be notified via email.Crap. I was about to post something fluffy and non-value added and now youve bummed me out, making me momentarily lose my equilibrium and orientation in my quest for forum truth, meaning, and focus whereupon injuring myself ever so painfully while carelessly wielding Occam’s razor as I carved my lunchtime repast of logic freshly harvested from Itchys Six Sigma field.
SIASD0March 22, 2006 at 9:47 pm #135382TSST:I find the door swings both ways. I was a little disturbed the weekend to have someone, without provocation, state:”The forum either feels completely incompetent in unknown territory or feels that the government is staffed with people who are too incompetent to deserve actionable ideas and constructive criticism.”The poster later justified this statement as an effective means to get a hasty reaction. I was left wondering if this was an acceptable practice outside Western Societies, or a consequence of less than perfect transliteration. I posted a reply about the need for soft skills, but I’m still a bit puzzled. My Mom would have been be pleased to know she was right all along; good manners and respect for other people are always welcome.Cheers, BTDTP.S. We always say that the soft stuff is the hard stuff.
0March 22, 2006 at 9:55 pm #135383Andrejrad:I could not find the answer you were looking for, but I did find out how many good Six Sigma people there are per acre. It is pretty low.I did a quick search to find a Six Sigma person “out standing in his field”.Cheers, BTDT
