I was running a Minitab Taguchi Dynamic Analysis an the S/N chart has negative values. I’m trying to understand this phenom. The normal plot etc look wonderful. I guess I’m trying to understand if -27 is more robust than -22? Or vice versa.0June 21, 2010 at 4:10 am #190352
Signal to noise ratio is just that, the strength of a signal divided by the strength of the associated noise. The the ratio is measured in an exponential scale. Hence, a -22 has more signal than a -27.0
