I have to teach an hour class on probability as a part of my black belt training. Does anyone have set of PPT slides on the topic and/or ideas for training? I just hate to reinvent the wheel…
    Please advise, and thanks.

Unfortunately everything I have is proprietary in nature and cannot share. However, you could try google searching probability powerpoint, as this may yield you several examples….

    Greetings:
Aside from the materials, there are some things that you should consider independent of the materials.
First:  Establish your training objectives.  I generally establish about 5 or so, but that depends on the length of the teaching session.  Make the objectives relate to what you are trying to do, but fairly definitive.  Then share them at the start of the session.
After the teaching is done, do a class survey on the objectives, and use something like a Likert scale to quantify the responses.
For the first class do a quadrant analysis (believe that is findable on this site), and then adjust your teaching materials and time spent on each objective based on that analysis.  For successive classes do a Chi-squared analysis between the classes – because your teaching ability will increase, the makeup of the class will change, new ideas will emerge for materials that are better suited for the objectives, etc.
In short, be bold enough to use statistics to provide you some feedback on whatever materials you end up with.    Strive not to be just a presenter, but one that is memorable because you are good at it!

Brandon,You choose to peddle some of your family’s wares instead of question
why someone IN BB training would be asked to teach a class that is
part of the learning of BB?Wow man, are you interested in actually helping advance this?

G…er, I mean Stan, I answered his question specifically. He asked about training material availability so he didn’t have to build something. I pointed him to some – directly to the point of his post.
You likley haven’t looked lately since you were one of the early purchasers about a year ago. They now have a bunch of Quick Reference Guides that address various tool sets. He may well find one applicable to his needs for a measly $12. Would certainly beat building it, wouldn’t it?

The site looks great, but I having difficulty finding something on probability/confidence intervals. Are you thinking it would just be a part of the black belt package? Could you take a quick look and advise?
