With the re-launch of the new iSixSigma.com came the unveiling of our new discussion forum, powered by Kunena. This forum management system was selected after listening to VOC and tracking how the old discussion forum was used. A few of the items we focused on were:

    * The ability to see a separation of discussion forum content. Once all jumbled together, topics are now segmented into broader categories from which readers can focus on their particular interests and needs – and they are listed prominently on the main forum page.
    * Offering registration so that users did not need to re-enter username and email addresses with each post. Registered users can also message each other directly.
    * The ability to attach files for download.

We hope you’ll take the time to explore this forum and take advantage of what this new system has to offer the iSixSigma community.

Perhaps I don’t understand. You could see the segmented discussion if you wanted by selecting the by thread option in the old forum. I really liked the ability to see individual posts if I wanted or by thread. I can’t see individual posts here. Registration is fine. Didn’t you use to have the ability to download files? Maybe you did talk to the customer to see what they wanted and I am in the minority. This is still a good web with lots of useful information.

    Hi Bill,

There are two ways that you can view posts/threads in the way you prefer:

    1. Click “Recent Discussions” at the top of any forum page – that will display the posts from most recent to oldest.
    2. Subscribe to the RSS feed for the forum.

I hope that one of these options will suit your needs.

Got this email indicating someone posted to a discussion I was involved in. What’s up with the format????? No, I didn’t edit anything….the topic and poster are as I received it. In fact I got two emails of this format.

    Hi Darth,

Nothing wrong. We’ve had a couple of spam postings (that have since been removed), but they were in discussions you’d posted in so you got posting notifications.

If there was a legitimate post, you would have seen it within those email messages.

    Hi Katie,

I can only see a whopping total of 10 posts on iSixSigma within the last 24 hours, and probably a third of those are mine… I am checking “Recent Discussions”, am I looking in the right place?
