We have conducted a repeatability study, and have a % study greater than the 30% cutoff. Yet taking the tolerance into account, the % tolerance is 2.4%. The number of distinct categories is stated as 2.
    My questions:
    Is this measurement system capable?
Am I correct in saying the % tolerance is OK?
I believe the distinct categories are cause for concern. Am I correct?

I couldn’t read the Mintab output that well, but if your % study variation is greater than 30% and your distinct number of categories is 2, then the system is not capable.  You would want to review the raw data to try and determine if everything went as planned and if you need to perform the test again.
2 distinct categories means that your sysstem is essentially attribute capable above or below a certain value.
