I’ve recently started to do R&Rs on torque wrenches and thanks to you here, I have had a good deal of success with it, but the only thing I am having trouble with is the tolerance during the R&R. Should I use the tolerance of the parts it is used on, or the tolerance according to the Tech data supplied by each family of wrenches. My parts would use a tolerance of .3 – .5 when the tech data would use 1%-3%. some ranging from a torque of 9.5Nm up to and exceeding 28Nm. Trying to figure which would be the best overall option to secure a good test.
