     Ivet, Good afternoon!

Could you be more specific? Transportation can mean a lot of things.   Transporting goods across country via rail? Transporting items from one point to another inside a factory? Transportation issues you are having with another firm that is part of your supply chain? Something else?

    Best regards,

With this type transportation issue (s) you likely need to start with a Value Stream Analysis more so than a SS porject. You don’t know where your issues are as yet – maybe – if you do then go right to the Problem/Objective Stmnt.
However, a VSA will point out queues, inventory levels, non-value add movement, etc.
You are really dealing more with a flow problem than a defect problem…is my guess.
