Thought I would thow this out there for people to maybe try and use. The Workbook was created using Excel 2007 and is pretty self explainitory.

The idea behind it is to:

~ Help those new to Type 1 and GRR get though their first gages
~ Simplify and organize data storage of your Type 1 and GRR
~ In a few keystrokes you can create customized, printable sheets for your operators to fill out
~ Unify the method of data collection
~ Easily import, integrate or Cut and Paste data into MiniTab, MAS or Symphonic programs
~ May help keep data mistakes to a minimum

Please feel free to use and distribute. [file name=Blank_Gage_Work_Sheet_v.xlsx size=34610]https://www.isixsigma.com/images/fbfiles/files/Blank_Gage_Work_Sheet_v.xlsx[/file]

What do you consider important about a Type I study?

We use a 3 step Gage system The Potential Study or Type 1 tells us if our gage itself is capable of measuring what we want.
