I’m finding the whole value stream mapping process quite difficult to get my head around. I’m looking for a good tutorial on how to use it. Have looked at a lot of videos on Youtube and did a lot of searching. About the best I found on Youtube is from econoshift.com as his style is quite easy to follow.

When I was first introduced to QFD I found the webucate flash tutorial by Dr. Lowe quite good as it explained things in laymans terms. Can anyone recommend something similar? I want to do a value stream map for a process which in a nutshell involves selecting mechanical tooling parts, sending them out for anodising and receiving them back into the system.

Philip, I usually find Matt Hansen’s tutorials at StatStuff.com to be useful. As others say “its just my opinion” and I don’t receive any reward for endorsing Matt or his site.

Mind you, I can’t say I have done this particular piece of training so mine is just a general endorsement.
