TechParticipant@cytotechInclude @cytotech in your post and this person will
be notified via email.Six sigma is used to calculate variance % on missed cases in our cytology lab.
The problem that I see is that a pap smear (ThinPrep Imaging System) is
counted as .5 with respect to workload volume but as 1 with respect to
variance % (missed diagnosed case). I think the metric is skewed (against the
cytotechnologist) using this calculation. Opinions please.0 -
