WCBF held their Global Awards conference in Orlando, Florida last week. It was held in a dilapidated hotel that resembled something from the 1950’s with new paint and a bad color scheme.
The Disney speaker was good but supposedly was a rerun from an earlier conference.
A notable Six Sigma architect presented 4 management points that resembled some material from Covey.
Internet connectivity was over $200 for 24 hours.
Isn’t there some governing body that these people are accountable to when they provide something that is obviously targeted at making them money and the attendees are out thousands of dollars?

    Thanks for clarifying, Chad.
Well, shame on them for making their employees travel halfway across the globe, only to be ripped off at some dilapidated hotel.  All in the name of profit.

Hey! great post! Architects don’t actually DO anything, they just do some nice pictures of the design and sell the darn thing. If you can’t build it, well that’s just poor Engineering.
