I am looking at Six Sigma as part of a process improvement program for my company and would really like to link up with companies in Australia who may be considering or using six sigma to drive improvement.  Please come back if you know of any comapnies who may be involved in any aspect of six sigma implementation whether it is as a service provider or as an implementor etc.
    Thank you. Peter C

    Peter,
I am a Six Sigma consultant based in Sydney.  Perhaps you could contact me off-line at [email protected] and we could discuss Six Sigma deployment in Australia.
    Cheers,  Dennis.

    Dennis,
I don’t think you’re getting the whole idea about “knowledge exchance” that happens on this forum. The point is to educate others, not keep knowledge bottled up inside of each of us — how would anyone learn in that way?
I don’t think you should post names of individuals or contact information, but you can post the names of companies in Australia if you know them — and I believe that is what the original message was asking for. I, too, would like to know them.
Can you post the names of companies in Australia that are implementing Six Sigma?
    Thanks,Trev

    Trev,
In addition to the ones Dennis listed there is also:
Queensland Alumina, Rio Tinto, Raytheon Australia (their own version), Kodak, Westin Hotel chain (Shereton) etc
Telstra is not using core Six Sigma, and it is not being applied to Customer service unfortunately.
