Is it just my internet connection, or is iSixSigma.com
now taking on average (I can post my data, if you
want) 10 seconds to load each page? It’s painful…not
painful like getting a virus, but painful enough for
me not to use it.Anyone seeing this same problem?

I am not experiencing issues. In fact, I’d rather tolerate short-term slowness than having no iSixSigma.com at all. Welcome Back online, iSixSigma!

    Hi Charlie,
We did some anti-virus updates yeterday that temporarily slowed the site. You shouldn’t experience those problems today.

It took the following times to load the home page
just now (seconds): 24, 18, 22, 23, 18.It took the following times to load this page (your
post, seconds): 8, 9, 8, 10, 7.I will stop using this site if it stays this slow.
It’s just too frustrating. I can look something up
in my reference books more quickly.BTW, installing anti-virus software should not
require much CPU from the computer. Running a full
scan of the computer might, but why would you do
    this during peak usage hours?

    Charlie,
Would you mind checking again? Please be sure to clear your cache.
If that doesn’t work, please email me your operating system information and browser name and version number, and I will ask our emedia team to investigate further.
    Thank you,

Slow on my end as well…I cleared cache, checked connection speed, etc…
    i think it’s your ISP/Server.
P’raps a move to a BBS-type format on a dedicated server would be a worthwhile investment?
Also, I’d like to reopen the discussion of “Pay for Play” to support Isix and to keep the functionality we have today, free, but develop added functionality for paying users.

why would you pay for a site that degrades the value of the six brand with its marketing? actually, that might help it go away. I support pay for play

Mine is agonizing slow… to the point of being a major distraction. It is not my computer… no problem with other site speeds.

Rather than being subjective, here’s data. I just did a post in response to Chad’s. Following the post I landed on the “Message Posted” page. I clicked “Return to Forum”.
It took 30.3 seconds to be returned to the forum. That’s a long time.

Now, if only Katie could get Stan’s posts to not only be slow but to disappear every time he gets cynical or insulting.

LOL Darth – actually it’s the Webbie who does that to me for iSS. Perhaps she should read some of Stan’s posts.

I get similar speeds as well and always have and it’s only this site I get the problems with. I’ve also tried it on several compputers O/S and it doesn’t change much.
maybe it’s my expectations are wrong, what do you mark as an ok time to open up a message or see the discussion forum list? For me your about 3 times as slow than the lean exterprice institiue forum but about 4 times as usfull when you get there.

But the slow load adds to the suspense and anticipation of the posts by Stan . . .  and a few others.
Otherwise, I sometimes jump to another window and accomplish something while waiting for iSS to load.
