Hi,
When i run the Graphical summary/Run Chart for my data if found Minitab specifying a Z value as *.What does the same indicate.
Please clarify.

Probably means that your z score is huge. Post your process mean and std dev that came out of the analysis and the tolerance limits that you submitted to minitab and we’ll see what it means.

Hi Rohit
i agree what faceman has to say but just one point to add that in graphical summary or in run chart it does not display the Z value.It is been displayed when you take out the process capabilty
