So maybe the way to look at it isn’t for 70 rounds of golf but for one 18 hole round of golf.
Then the calculator inputs would be:
Total Units = 18 greens
Opportunities = 2 stokes/putts per green
Total defects = 1 extra stroke/putt on one of those 18 greens
Does that make sense?

A myth I’m hearing in the process industries is “Six Sigma isn’t suited for batch processes (i.e., pharmaceticals, food and beverage, etc.). Since Six Sigma’s roots are deep in Motorla’s discrete manufacturing and semi-conductor business, it seems strange to me that people would argue such a myth.
