Important Lesson Learned…
I never asked for Certifications of those I hired, I never ask for diplomas or plaques. The first thing I ask for is a minimum of 3 completed project reports (1 or 2 if hiring for a lower postion). Takt Time does not care whether your stations are independant, coupled, etc…
Takt time is calculated as (Available time / Demand)
You are required to determine how to meet your takt time whether it is more stations, more employees, more automation, overtime, etc…

Takt time does not care how many stations you have.
Takt time = Available time / Demand
in your case:
27000 / 344 = 78.48 seconds per unit
Question: If you have 2 shifts, then why do you not have 54000 seconds (27000sec. X 2) of available time?

I suggest reading Eliyahu M. Goldratt’s books “The Goal” and “Theory of Constraints”. This will arm you w/ the knowledge about constraints to meeting “real” customer demand. It will also give you insight to what barriers you will face during this paradigm change.
