To sum it up…
There are NO definitions for Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk stated that is valid everywhere and accepted by all.
What is NORMAL definitions in Automotive Industry is whats in AIAG handbooks.

As always – why didn’t I think before asking?! This is exactly what I have. All samples have high p-values for normality and the process is very stable and well inside SL.
I got the info I was looking fore, so thanks again (all of You who answered)

1. Yes You should try to substitute your process output with a normal distribution first – because it is easyer to use that distribution. But to do a capability study You don’t HAVE to have a normally distributed output.
